The success of Royal Albert fine bone china, along with its important royal associations, dates back to the late 1800s. In 1896 Thomas Wild took over the Albert Works in Longton, Stoke-On-Trent. In 1897, Thomas Wild and Co. produced a range of commemorative pieces for Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee, an association with royalty that continues to this day.
